Yes, we can export pressure data from the footscan® software to certain grinder software packages. For more information on suitable grinder systems contact your regional distributor or complete the contact form.

No, a pressure measurement system can´t give you the exact weight of your patient, however the footscan® Hi-End system can be used together with a force plate to obtain the weight of your patient.

The PSL (Pressure Sensitive Layer) has a limited lifespan. RSscan recommends to replace the PSL on a yearly basis. Contact your local distributor.

Inspect the USB cable, verify that there are no signs of damage. Inspect where the cable enters the plate.

Does the cable look fine?

Open the device manager, locate the unknown device. Double check that you are looking at the correct device by unplugging the footscan® plate and plug it in again, the device should disappear from the device list and re-appear. Once you have determined the correct (unknown) device, go to the properties, select the details tab. Verify the vendor ID (VID) and product ID (PID). If one of them or both are zero, the footscan system needs to be sent back to RSscan international for repair. Fill in an online RMA form.
